Warmer weather is right around the corner. With Daylight Saving Time happening in the U.S. and Canada over the weekend, days just got an hour longer. Theres the Puglia Food Lover's Journey and Pastry-Making Vacation in Provence returning by popular demand from previous years. And new this year is the Markets & Villages of Provence Culinary Vacation. Each vacation is a small-group tour with a maximum of 8 or 10 people per group. Below are highlights of each:
FOOD LOVER'S CULINARY JOURNEY IN PUGLIA ~
Cook, eat, drink, discover & enjoy the food, wine & culture at the tip of Italy's heel. This all-inclusive 9-day/8-night journey with all my foodie friends in Puglia is truly a local experience. I've spent a lot of time in Puglia over the last few years and made many friends there. Many of them will welcome us into their kitchens, homes, and even olive groves. We'll have a local guide with us the entire time and cook with Italian nonnas, mammas and chefs. We'll dine at the home of another friend and with another picnic in her olive grove. We'll explore all the major cities of Salento and the Itria Valley with guided walking tours of Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli, Alberobello, Martina Franca and Ostuni. We'll have a wines of Puglia lesson with one of my favorite wine bar owners, learn about olive oil and how to taste it like a pro inside a Frantoio Ipogeo (underground ancient olive oil mill) and have a Pugliese pastry-making lesson with a pastry chef in his pastry shop's kitchen. This is an all-inclusive vacation where lodging, all meals, tastings, and gelato stops are included in the price.

MARKETS & VILLAGES OF PROVENCE CULINARY VACATION ~
This week-long (8 days/7 nights) vacation explores the best of Provence - its markets and its villages. We'll have three market-to-table cooking classes wehre we'll cook seasonal meals with ingredients fresh from the market. We'll visit some of the best markets of the region in the most beautiful villages from seaside locations to those perched on hilltops looking down over vine-covered valleys or rows of lavender. We'll dine together in some of the best restaurants in the region. We'll have guided walking tours of Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Avignon & Marseille and enjoy visits to a cheese shop, wineries, and pastry shop, Pastis shop - all with tastings.

FRENCH PASTRY-MAKING VACATION IN PROVENCE ~
For those of you, who like me, are fanatic members of the sweet tooth society, join me for a week of French pastry making. This vacation starts out with a champagne and French pastry dessert buffet reception. Then we'll learn secrets of the French patissier and make many of the French pastry classics together. Although we'll spend a lot of time together in the sweet kitchen, we'll also dine together in some of the best restaurants in Aix-en-Provence. Mid-week, we'll take a baking break and venture to a seaside village on its biggest market day then spend the rest of the day together in seaside villages in Provence.
