I had never been a huge fan of pesto (though, of course, I'd eat it), but Dave just made the absolute best I've ever had (I haven't had yours, Kath). He said he used a little yeast to it because he was out of some ingredient. You just never know.

Susan

That looks yummy! I love pesto dishes.

Jozee

I am a big fan of pesto. Wish that I could have some of this delicious looking dish.

Tami

I've always loved pesto, but it wasn't until I had it with Trofie that I really "got it". I mean its just the best pasta shape to have with it, especially with the beans and potatoes that are traditionally served with it. Yum!

Nuts about food

I remember looking up the official recipe when I posted about trofie al pesto recently. Pretty, crazy, huh? Truth is, outside Liguria so many people buy good quality pesto in stores and those who make it at home (me included)do it with a food processor. I love it with green beans and potatoes
