Welcome to this week's round up. It's filled with good eats from around the boot. The ten Italian recipes this week include soups, gnocchi cacio e pepe, a grass frittata, pork chops with a mushroom cream sauce, and just a few desserts. Eating Italy is again packed, with much information on eating in Venice (Carnevale started this weekend!), and also which pasta shapes go best with pesto sauce, more from Pizzarium in Rome, wines and markets in Umbria, where to find all the sweet shops in Rome, and more.
After this week, Italy on a Plate will be taking a four-week hiatus. The round up will return on Sunday April 3rd. I'm thinking of doing a March review of recipes and Eating Italy for that round up, if it will all fit into one post. In case you haven't read it here on the blog already, I'm going to Italy in March! Although you won't get a Sunday dose of Italy on a Plate, I promise you almost daily dishes of food and travel in the country we all love so much.
Enjoy this week's round up and Buon Appetito!
