I hope all of you had a good week, and to all the mothers (even those not in the United States), Happy Mother's Day! Lots of good recipe links again this week, inlcuding a fried pizza recipe from Naples, zucchini from Sicily, an Abruzzese soup with 28 ingredients, plenty of pasta, two delciously creamy risotti and an idea for leftover lamb.
Eating Italy is full of links, too: food lovers' guides to Piedmont, Florence and Sicily. There are also restaurant reviews for two popular Roman restaurants, a dinner dedicated to Hemingway in Venice, a visit to the Artusi museum, and video help with Italian grape names. If you're traveling or planning travel to Italy this year, be sure to check out the ever growing list of upcoming food and wine festivals...chocolate, gelato, wine and more! Enjoy and Buon Appetito!

Wow, I can't even keep up with all of the posts from Katie Parla, she's incredible!
And what a lovely shot of those granita (or is that granite, lol), I had one the other day here but not quite as good - I think the neon orange color gave it away!
Thanks for another inspirational week!

Lydia - Thank you very much for such a kind compliment.
Tuula - Thanks! You're right, Katie Parla is definitely writing up a savory storm. You need to head on over to Sicily for some granita....it's only a short plane ride, right?!!
