Welcome to this week's Italy on a Plate. Recipes this week include a lot of seafood dishes and then there is a summer garden meal, a raspberry drink suggested by Artusi and appetizers of fried mozzarella, possibly to go with it. Now I usually like to keep my savory food out of my sweets, but I couldn't resist adding the recipe for zucchini ice cream?! For those interested in eating and drinking tips in the bel paese, there's a post about a restaurant in the middle of Lake Como, information on restaurants in Rome that will be open in August, more gelato in Rome - this time natural gelato, food and wine in Sicily, a restaurant near Padova, tips for traveling & eating in Asti, and more. Enjoy and Buon Appetito!
