It's the Carnival edition of Italy on a Plate this week. Not only are there more Carnival recipes from Sicily, Tuscany and Naples, with a Neapolitan lasagna, but I've added speical section, Carnival in Italy, and a few links to videos and photo essays from the events going on around Italy.
Besides Carnival there's a lot in the way plain old feasting Italian style - photos and tales from Piedmont, Umbria (more from the International Wine Tourism Conference), Sicily, Parma, Tuscany and of course tons of eating going on in the capital, Roma. I hope you enjoy the selection of links and Buon Carnevale & Buon Appetito!
