Buona Domenica! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I have for you the regular Sunday roundup of Italian food. A bread named after a slipper, artichokes and Rome (Yes, artichoke season is here!), Torta Mimosa to celebrate the March 8th Festa delle Donne, and more. Eating Italy includes chocolate in Umbria, wines from Piedmont and Campania, Italian Alpine food; along with food and dining tips for Rome, Tuscany, Sicily, and the Lunigiana. Also, don't forget the list of food and wine festivals! As spring and summer near, I'm adding more & more to the list. Enjoy & Buon Appetito!

I must admit the word busiati is new to me: I must check the post. And the Strade della mozzarella event sounds quite nice. Fresh mozzarella di bufala is truly special. Thank you Kathy for another interesting collection and for including my "creative recycling" dish. Have a great week.
